Philippe Veillet-Lavallee, a FOCUS Senior Advisor, has over twenty-five years of management experience working for large corporations and small companies in the European business environment mainly in the United Kingdom and French markets. His career has ranged from planning and business development to corporate banking.

Prior to joining FOCUS, Veillet-Lavallee had been the Managing Director of an asset management advisory company, which he founded in Switzerland, dedicated to service specific investment needs of a handful of High Net Worth individuals. Assets under management have grown at an average rate in excess of 11% and stand currently at over $230 million.

From 1976 to the mid-eighties, Veillet-Lavallee worked in the World Corporate Group of Citibank, in Paris and in the European headquarters in London. There he managed the relationship of existing corporate clients, identified prospects and established new customer relationships. During his tenure, he was also responsible for meeting the financial needs of Parent companies at a global level by offering local expertise, through close coordination with other colleagues in the Bank worldwide, to the management of their subsidiaries. Main customer segments were pharmaceuticals and consumer non-durables.

Early in his career he spent five years at the European headquarters of the consumer products and services division of WR Grace assisting management teams of various European subsidiaries. There he was responsible for the identification and analysis of critical macro, industry, market, customer and product related factors in order to refine their development strategy. His role was to support Senior Corporate Management by interfacing with the European companies to ensure proper communication and reporting to corporate head office in The US.
