Mr. Kyle has over 15 years of experience in corporate finance, M&A and other financial advisory as well as involvement in over 30 closed transactions totaling more than $5 billion. He also has direct industry experience in the business services, financial and technology sectors having worked for two Fortune 500 companies, a German industrial giant, a top private equity sponsor and a major investment banking firm.

Prior to joining FOCUS, Mr. Kyle was a director, officer (CFO) and investor with Knights Key Corporation, a South Florida real estate holding company with commercial, residential and resort properties in South Florida. Before that, Mr. Kyle was an investment banker (VP) in the New York office of KeyBanc Capital Markets where he originated and executed a range of corporate advisory transactions and financings, especially in the industrial growth and technology sectors. Prior to KeyBanc, Mr. Kyle was an associate in the corporate finance group of New York’s largest independent accounting firm where he provided acquisition advisory and valuation services to Fortune 500 and middle market corporate clients.

In other earlier positions, Lance provided capital markets research to Fortune 500 clients while with Thomson Financial and also worked in various financial management capacities at IBM, Lockheed Martin, Robert Bosch and Servicemaster.  He also served as a director of corporate development for a Welsh Carson portfolio company.

Mr. Kyle received his AB and MBA from William & Mary as well as a Master’s Certificate in financial engineering from Columbia University.  Lance is a CFA Level 2 Candidate and FAA-certified Private Pilot.  He is fluent in German and Spanish and also studied Mandarin Chinese.
