| Michael has more than thirteen years of private equity and company leadership experience. As an investor, Michael developed a sense for attractive growth opportunities, making debt and equity investments in companies ranging from early stage start ups to international corporations. As an entrepreneur, Michael held senior management positions in several firms, including President and CEO of his own start-up. His experience has provided a deep understanding of market and organizational challenges small companies face in achieving their growth targets.
Michael previously served as President and CEO of Variant Analytics, a provider of risk analytics to the commercial real estate mortgage industry. Prior to that, Michael served as the Director of Product Development in two firms, charged with designing and managing market introduction of two pioneering applications. He began his career with AEW Capital Management, where he served as an investor for its opportunistic private equity fund.
Michael received an MBA from Darden School of Business at University of Virginia, and a BA from Bentley College. Michael is a level 3 CFA candidate. He is bilingual in English and Czech. |
