With more than 20 years of financial and business expertise, Millar has advised, managed and led more than 40 transactions worth an aggregate value of more than $1 billion.

Before joining FOCUS, Millar was founder and managing principal of The Vine Group, a business advisory firm focused on the healthcare and medical device industry. At the Vine Group, he closed more than $150 million in private placement transactions. Although his primary focus at The Vine Group was healthcare services and life sciences, as evidenced by the sale of a healthcare technology and services company to Aetna, Millar successfully completed sale and financing engagements for middle market companies in the manufacturing, distribution, software and recreation industries.

Prior to The Vine Group, Millar served as corporate vice president of strategic development of TheraTx, Inc., a fast-growing healthcare services company. Leading the identification, valuation and integration of strategic acquisitions for the company, Millar completed several key transactions at TheraTx including the purchase of a large senior care facility operator and management company.
