Washington, DC--(BUSINESS WIRE)--(March 11, 2003)--FOCUS Enterprises, Inc., the region's premiere investment banking and consulting firm for middle-market and smaller companies, today announced that Timothy P. Johnson is joining the firm as a Principal.

Prior to becoming a FOCUS Principal, Mr. Johnson was at New York City-based CIBC World Markets, specializing in complex merger and acquisition transactions in a multitude of industries. Also on Wall Street, Mr. Johnson worked in the Salomon Smith Barney, Inc. Global Mergers and Acquisitions Group.

Previously, in the Washington, D.C. area, Mr. Johnson was at Friedman, Billings, Ramsey & Co., Inc., working in Mergers and Acquisitions, where he sourced, structured, negotiated and executed merger and acquisition transactions. Mr. Johnson began his career at Arthur Andersen LLP, working in the Financial Services Division of the Audit and Advisory Group.

Mr. Johnson, a Certified Public Accountant, has an M.B.A. in Finance and a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Maryland.
